RENOLIN ELTEC is used as insulation oil in transformers, switchgears, inductance coils, capacitors, instrument transformers, and similar devices, even at low ambient temperatures (e.g. in outdoor installations). It is used to insulate current carrying parts, dissipate heat, prevent glow discharge, extinguish electric arcs in switchgear, and saturate insulating materials.
